Wish Builders was nominated for the 2008 Builder of the Year by the New River Valley Home Builders Association
Wish Builders was established in 2007 by Neil Cash and Brenda Turner. After working together to create Brenda's Wish Manor home on Claytor Lake, Brenda and Neil knew that they had found a unique niche in the building industry: creating luxury waterfront homes on Claytor Lake, Virginia.
Making Wishes Come True: Craftsmanship is an essential element in every Wish Builders home. Hand hewn lumber, dry-stacked rocks, and inlaid terra cotta are some of the old-world elements found in Wish Builders homes, giving each new house it's own unique spirit and life.
Green Building: Wish Builders strives to make sound environmental choices in building, including using innovative building products such as structural wall panels that reduce waste and recycled cotton denim insulation. Using reclaimed wood and salvaged architectural details in their building also gives Wish Builders homes a sense of history and disntinction.
Neil Cash
Neil Cash has over 25 years experience in the construction industry. Neil has a vast body of residential and commercial building experience, working with budgets up to $8 million. In his own home on Claytor Lake, to the exquisite, handcrafted Wish Manor, to the new Wish Builders construction currently underway, Neil's love of creating beautiful, lasting homes is evident.
Brenda Turner
Brenda Turner has extensive experience in the real esate industry as a former partner in B & B Realty in Tazewell, Virginia. She and her late husband Bill Turner launched the WISDOM Media Group in 1998 to provide television programming related to mind, body, spirit and earth. They also incorporated each of these elements into their own home on Claytor Lake, Wish Manor. Brenda's brother-in-law Neil was her first choice of builders to help her with the Wish Manor construction project.
Brenda enjoyed working with Neil so much that continuing to work together to create other special homes in an area she loves has been a natural progression. Brenda's planning of each new home, both inside and out, brings the Wish Builders vision of an enduring, welcoming space to reality on each project. Through Wish Interiors and Gardens, Brenda helps Wish Builders clients with the final details that transform their new construction to homes of style and distinction.
