Craftsmanship in Every Wish Builders Home
Starting with quality materials is essential to Wish Builders. The lumber used in Wish Builders construction comes from "The School" - a former schoolhouse in Hiwassee that has been converted to a sawmill and workshop by Neil Cash. Wish Builders uses stone for dry stack and decorative rock work from the Heritage Stoneyard. They also work with Timber Truss to use structural wall panels that cut down on waste. Wish Builders works with recycled materials and recovered architectural details whenever possible, not only preserve the environment, but also to give new life to unique architectural and design elements that give a sense of spirit and history to new homes.
The Wish Builders team working at The School and on each Wish Builders home site includes: Mike Brennend, an Englishman who as been working in the construction industry for over 40 years. Don Fariss specializes in custom cabinetry. Tim Saunders works on framing and building at the job site.
